Saturday, September 3, 2011 - 10AM to 3PM
Is an annual car show organized and presented each year by members of the Gold Rush Champions (GRC) to benefit and raise awareness for Canine Companions for Independence® (CCI). Canine Companions is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and the ongoing support needed to ensure a successful partnership, all free of charge.
This annual car show is held at El Dorado Hills Town Center and features classic, custom and exotic cars. The many beautiful and unique cars on display represent many different eras of the automobile and offers something of interest for the car enthusiast or novice alike.
The car show will also feature a booth staffed by members of the Gold Rush Champions to distribute information and answer questions about Canine Companions for Independence. There will be a large number of Canine Companions dogs, both puppies in training and service dogs with their puppy raiser or graduate partner. They will demonstrate commands and skills these wonderful dogs are able to perform and can explain how someone can become a puppy raiser or how to help support this wonderful cause.
There will be a live DJ as well as good food and drink available as well as some great raffles to support CCI featuring many wonderful items that anybody would love to win. So please consider attending this wonderful event with great cars, puppies and entertainment in a wonderful outdoor setting at a beautiful location. This is a great way to spend a Saturday and help support a wonderful cause.
